Pretty standard hotel, it has quiet atmosphere, and the location is amazing in a beautiful part of Edinburgh. The rooms are lovely and amazing with a very good bed, separate bedroom, as example. The price is just right - £ 65.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Edinburgh's Dean Village River View Retreat. As a solo traveler, the cozy set up was perfect for me to relax and unwind. the property had lovely subtle touches and the location and views were amazing. From my bedroom window, I could see the river and the beautiful buildings of Dean Village. It was also conveniently close to the city center with excellent bus connections to Portobello Beach. the room was super clean, cozy, and had a lot of character, with fresh-smelling cotton sheets and towels. I will definitely be coming back!
Nothing, all was good 😊.

Loved waking up to fabulous river and garden views from my room. It was like having my own private nature show. So peaceful, it made me contemplate the meaning of life.
Didn't enjoy feeling like I was in a museum with all the "Don't touch" signs. Guess they thought I'd break something with my amazing grace.
